Entsprechend der Forderung des Wissenschaftsrats nach Berücksichtigung des Bedeutungszuwachses von Medienkompetenz, wonach Lehrer im Rahmen ihrer Ausbildung in die Lage versetzt werden sollten, Schüler auf den kompetenten Umgang mit Informations- und Kommunikationstechniken vorzubereiten und neue Medien für Lehr- und Lernprozesse in der Schule nutzbar zu machen, werden wir im Rahmen dieses Seminar

  • die Funktionen und Wirkungen der neuen Medien in Lehr- und Lernprozessen erörtern,
  • Möglichkeiten der Internet- und Softwarennutzung im Mathematikunterricht analysieren
  • an ausgewählten Beispielen die Vorteile und Nachteile aufzuzeigen, die mit dem Einsatz dieser neuen Werkzeuge einhergehen.

Im Mittelpunkt steht der praktische Umgang mit den Möglichkeiten des Internets und mit ausgewählten Programmen (Tabellenkalkulation und Dynamische Geometriesoftware). Dies soll in Form intensiver Kleingruppenarbeit erfolgen. Anschließend gilt es, die Verwendung des jeweiligen Werkzeugs im Hinblick auf das Erreichen der Ziele des Mathematikunterrichts zu hinterfragen und Beispiele für einen problemadäquaten Einsatz zu erarbeiten.

Der PC-Pool der Bioinformatik, in dem das Seminar stattfindet, verfügt über 12 Rechner. Um individuelles Arbeiten mit den Programmen zu ermöglichen, ist das Mitbringen von eigenen Laptop-Rechner ausdrücklich erwünscht.

Formen der aktiven Teilnahme: Aktive Beteiligung an Diskussionen, Bearbeitung von Aufgaben, Präsentationen der Projekte.

Modulprüfung: Die Modulprüfung erfolgt in Form einer Klausur (60 min).


Hinweis für Studierende:   Studierenden des auslaufenden Lehramtsmasterstudiengang wird dieses Seminar als Teilmodul „Ausgewählte Kapitel“ anerkannt.

In line with the Science Council's demand for consideration of the growing importance of media literacy, according to which teachers should be enabled to prepare students for the competent use of information and communication technologies and to make new media available for teaching and learning processes in schools, this seminar will focus on the following topics discuss the functions and effects of the new media in teaching and learning processes, analysing the possibilities of Internet and software use in mathematics lessons, demonstrate the advantages and disadvantages of using these new tools using selected examples.

The focus is on the practical handling of the possibilities of the Internet and selected programs (spreadsheet and dynamic geometry software). This is to take place in the form of intensive small group work. Afterwards, it is necessary to question the use of the respective tool with regard to achieving the goals of mathematics teaching and to work out examples for a problem-adequate application.

The PC pool of bioinformatics, in which the seminar takes place, has 12 computers. In order to be able to work with the programs individually, it is expressly desired to bring your own laptop computer.

Forms of active participation: active participation in discussions, working on tasks, presentations of projects. The module part examination takes the form of an exam (45 min).
Note for students:   This seminar is recognised as a "Selected Chapters" sub-module for students of the expiring Master's programme.
