When a course instance has been created from a template, the course instance will be in this state

  • Data is usually still incomplete and everything can still be edited.
  • Lecturers or secretaries can move the state forward to Edited.

This course teaches methods and algorithms to simulate molecular spectra.

Simulation of spectra enables comparison, assignment and interpretation of experimentally obtained data such as:

  • Infrared-spectra
  • Raman-spectra
  • Fluorescence (UV/Vis)
  • NMR

Examples will range from small molecules in gas phase to biomolecular systems.

Recommended previous knowledge: molecular simulations and/or electronic structure theory
