The subject of this seminar is the development of quantum theory in its historical context. We will cover three main topics:

1. Early debates around the interpretation of quantum mechanics (Schrödinger-Heisenberg and Bohr-Einstein)

2. From the EPR paradox to Bell's inequality

3. Newer developments

The different time periods will be discussed in alternating sessions from the physical and from the historical point of view. Participants must be able to follow both directions. Therefore, a successful participation in "Theoretical Physics 4 (quantum mechanics)" or "Theoretical Physics 3 for future physics teachers" is precondition.
