Das Seminar wendet sich an Studierende, die die Vorlesungen “Algebra I” und/oder “Funktionentheorie” gehört haben. Es vereint Techniken der komplexen Analysis und der kommutativen Algebra. Dadurch werden Verbindungen zwischen komplex analytischer und algebraischer Geometrie geschaffen.


Vorträge können auf Deutsch oder Englisch gehalten werden.

The seminar addresses students who have attended the course “Algebra I” and/or a course in complex function theory. It illustrates the interplay between complex analysis and commutative algebra and is the basis for understanding the connections between complex analytic and algebraic geometry.

Talks can be in English or German.
