This course will mainly deal with linear partial differential equations (PDE). The content is a selection of the following:

  • Theory of Linear Elliptic Partial Differential Equations.
  • Classical Solutions; Schauder theory.
  • Weak solutions; maximum principles, existence, regularity, eigenvalues and eigenfunctions.
  • Theory of Quasilinear Partial Differential Equations.
  • Maximum and Comparison Principles.
  • Leray-Schauder theory; existence and regularity of solutions.
