Description

Theory of Light-Matter-Interaction: Quantum Dynamics and Control

The goal of quantum control is to manipulate dynamical processes at the atomic or molecular scale, typically using external electromagnetic fields. This course will introduce the basic concepts of and the theoretical and numerical methods for quantum control and review recent applications of quantum control in AMO physics and quantum information science.
