Chapter 7: Absolute Values, Local fields

(not all in the chapter)

On the way, revise Dedekind and discretely valued rings.

Main goal: understand that any local field is either a finite extension of the field of fractions of the Witt vectors of a finite field, 

or else a finite extension of the Laurent power series field over a finite field.
