Strongest light-matter coupling W19/20

Description

This seminar will focus on the functioning of science and its cultural, social, political and philosophical background. Possible topics could be: how scientific journals and research funding work, what ethical principles have to apply to science and which role different social backgrounds play in research. The goal is to have a discussion on these topics in an interdisciplinary approach. Students are encouraged to propose topics they want to discuss and contribute to preparing the sessions.
