Starting out from „The Mathematics of Sustainability“ by Simon Levin and references therein, this seminar shall look into a selection of papers that give an overview on mathematics relevant for analysing various aspects of sustainability. Potential topics include formalisation of non-mathematical concepts, cooperation in game theory, and agent-based modelling.
