The Software project Distributed Systems will target the development of a software system in the context of distributed systems. The topics can be related with ongoing projects of the group DDS. The task will be to design, implement and text a software system.

Topics can be the analysis of distributed systems, or building software, such as a smart contract.

Topics this semester will be:

- Development of a smart contract in the context of quality control of production engineering in collaboration with the welding department at the Institute for Materials Research (Bundesanstalt für Materialforschung)
- Development of an app to perform federated learning

- Development of a component in Hyperledger Fabric.
