Inhalt

Dies ist der erste Teil eines dreisemestrigen Kurses über algebraische Geometrie. Kommutative Algebra ist die Theorie der Kommutativringe und ihrer Module. Es beinhaltet formal affine algebraische und lokale analytische Geometrie. Themen sind u.a:

  • Affine algebraische Varianten
  • Ringe, Ideale und Module
  • Noetherische Ringe
  • Lokale Ringe und Lokalisation
  • Primäre Zersetzung
  • Endliche und integrale Erweiterungen
  • Dimensionstheorie
  •  Regelmäßige Ringe

Zielgruppe
Studenten mit den unten genannten Voraussetzungen.

Algebra und Zahlentheorie Literatur

  • Atiyah, M.F.; Macdonald, I.G.: Einführung in die kommutative Algebra. Addison-Wesley Publishing Co., Reading, Mass-London-Don Mills, Ont. 1969 ix+128 Seiten (Dieses Buch ist wahrscheinlich der beste Einstieg in das Thema. Es ist kurz, prägnant und klar geschrieben.)
  • Weitere Literatur wird im Kurs gegeben

2021-12-13:  Exercise session [3.1.] -> [20.12.]

Hallo everybody,

 

in  today's exercize session we have decided that the session of 1/3/2022 will be shifted to 12/20/2021.

 

That is: There WILL be a last exercise session next Monday - as usually, via webex. But, there will NOT be an exercise session on the first Monday of the new year.

 

And note that this does not influence the classes. The last double lecture of 2021 will be at 12/15/2021, and the first one of next year will be at 1/5/2022.

becoming more digital

Dear students of the algebra1 master course,

since the situation with covid is getting worse at the moment, I have
decided to become more digital again. As a first step, this will mean
the following:

1) The excersise session on Monday 11/8 (12-2pm) will be on webEx:

For getting an atmosphere being closer to a live event, I hope that you
will still be active with questions and comments - and that you keep your
cameras open. Nobody tries to control you - but nothing is more
frustrating than speaking to a couple of grey squares containing some
initials...

2) The class on Wednesday 11/10 (4pm - 8pm) will be hybrid:

- I continue giving the lecture live with audience in A22/HsA

- everybody who still likes to attend is invited to come (but please
  register via the QR code at your seat -
                           linking to anwesende.imp.fu-berlin.de/

- it will still be recorded and published via VBrick

- the whole event will additionally be distributed via webEx -
  with the same meeting data as above for the excersise session.

So far, this applies just for the upcoming week. We will decide
afterwards how we continue.
