Objectives: Students will become familiar with methods of qualitative data analysis and the underlying theoretical and scientific concepts. They would be able to independently design and implement interview and evaluation methods adapted to a specific research context (especially in a development geography context). They will become familiar with the potentials, limitations and challenges of qualitative and quantitative, participatory, and transdisciplinary methods. Research design can be adapted according to the context of interest to students.
