Based on the course Dynamical Systems 1 and/or 2, we will explore the dynamics of reaction networks of ordinary differential equations. Starting with Feinberg's notation, we draw a line from general results such as the existence of positive steady states to real-life applications such as the Citric Acid Cycle, cell-differentiation, and mammalian circadian sleep-wake rhythms. Chemistry or biology knowledge is neither a prerequisite, nor an impediment.
