New in a company, you will often be confronted with an existing and even larger, but completely unknown, code base. This results in a number of challenges, which unfortunately are often neglected in our lectures.
With our own software product Saros, which is a representative example, we want to remedy this situation and continue where "software engineering" ends: with the maintenance and care of large code bases.
In this software project you will perform selected work on Saros with a strong focus on refactoring and similar activities. If you have always wanted to participate in existing projects, but have not found a good start, this is the right place for you.
Target Group
- MSc
- BSc who have completed ALP2 and SWT (or at least taken part once)
Prerequisites
Knowledge of Java (ALP2) and "Software Engineering" are mandatory requirements for this software project.
