Are you starting your studies at the FU Berlin in the winter semester? Is your field of study computer science or bioinformatics? Then you are invited to our bridge/preparatory course! The preparatory course takes place in the last two weeks before the start of the lectures in coordination with the orientation weeks.
More information and a detailed schedule will follow. If you want to stay up to date, you are welcome to join our mailing list.
Mathematical-logical thinking is essential for solving problems in computer science. Since some deficits regarding these prerequisites have became apparent in the lectures for beginners in computer science in the last years, the most important mathematical basics are repeated in the bridge course.
The main topics are: elementary set theory, relations and functions, logical basics, handling of mathematical formulas and the understanding of mathematical proofs.
Der Brückenkurs richtet sich an alle Studienanfänger in den Fächern Informatik und Bioinformatik.
